Hey, hey everybody.
I know that Hot Bliggity Blog has been sadly neglected. Part of the reason is that my brain has been completely taken over by hockey. Mainly with the beginner league team I belong to, the Toronto Demons.
This Sunday we played our first official game and we won. I can take full credit for the victory because I did not once score on our own net.

Todats weather reminded me of the ice storm zombie movie Graeme and I were working on some years ago. To help with the pitch we dressed up as Zombies and wandered around in the snow taking pictures.
I put togther this fake movie poster to try to inspire Graeme's script.

This here is a drawing of me hard at work at Nelvana. It's one of the many, many drawing of me by my fellow designer Rob Risek. I've almost completely run out of room on the wall around my desk at work because it's covered in these little drawn love letters to me. Although he's getting married in just over a month I truly believe he's developed an unhealthy obsession with me.
He has his own blog but with the addition of this drawing I almost have more Risek art on my blog than he has on his. He does however have an adorable picture of kittens on it.

Oh goody boys and girls, another hot-bliggity post on everyone's favorite time waster. These here are a couple maquettes I did for another Steve Fossati project. It was meant to be a 3-D film noir show called "Gumshoe". Oh well, woulda been fun. I hope that he hasn't given up on it.
The sculpts were based on Steve's designs and if memory serves me correctly I think Steve did some reworking on the dog.

Hey, hey it's a new post.
This here is something I did for a tv pitch that Steve Fossati, my former boss from Chuck Jones Film Productions came up with. This was during my stint at Dreamworks. Steve was always good for giving me some design jobs while I was bored to tears working on the Dreamworks films. I was trying for that cheesy "Heavy Metal" style sci-fi look.

Thetis Lake Monster

It's a flippin' miracle! I managed to get a picture on this here flippin' blog.
This is my rendition of a true tale of cryptozoology. The Thetis Lake Monster was seen by two guys in British Columbia some time in the 70's.
The picture isn't finished yet but I promised my good buddy Vincent that I would release it for the world to see. Vincent was my model for the guy in front.
There is also supposed to be type in the open areas.
